Marketing Your Affiliate Program
In the article yesterday, How To Make Money Using Clickbank, I laid out how to find a profitable and demanding clickbank product. The next question is how do I market the product. I mean, you have done the reasearch, have a profitable product to sell, whether through clickbank or amazon, or anyone for that matter, but do not know how to get it out. Let’s look at various ways to market your affiliate program.
Use a squidoo lens. You can set up a squidoo lens for free, and put you affiliate links and products on this site. They allow affiliate links of any type. Squidoo is also spidered regularly by Google, so there is a good chance you will get ranked in the first 2-3 days. Then it will just be a matter of letting users find you. Get a squidoo lens for free.
Write articles. I personally use Ezinearticles. They have a PR6, and Google loves them. If you pick the right phrase, with the least amount of competition, then you will be #1 in about 3 days. The only con about ezine is you can not link directly to an affiliate link. You need to redirect them from a top level domain, or just use your squidoo site as the link in the resource box.
Use classified ads. USFreeads is a free classified ad site, which allows you to have 2 free ads running at a time. If you upgrade to pro, then you can have unlimited ads, as well as html capabilities to design your ad even better. This was the hot website about a year ago, but it still has some power behind it.
Use a blog. You can set up a blog at Blogger, and use this as your landing page. You can have anything on here you want: your own google ads, your affiliate links, a newletter sign up box, anything. Then you can use an ezine article and drive traffic directly to your blog.
Any of the above methods will work. I think the best method is to set up a blog, or squidoo site, make is all about your affiliate product, and then write about 10-15 articles and drive traffic directly to that site. When you figure out exactly how to make it work, then just do it again. And those are some free ways to market your affiliate program.
