Using Designer Upholstery

OK, so I am not a real big curtain kind of guy. When we first moved into our house, we removed all of the drapes and curtains which were left behind on the windows. They were sort of a flowery type of pattern, and really did not match anything. The material was good, and of high quality, but it just did not fit what we are trying to do.
But it has been almost 2 years with only blinds and we are finally ready to get some good curtains made. We are going to use designer upholstery fabric, as this will make the curtains really stand out and go with the rest of the new stuff we have in the house. I think in the end, the curtain, being of a high quality, will be what really brings the rooms together, and give them the warm feeling we are looking for.
