Many people equate two-way radios with truck drivers going down the highway, talking on their CB radios in a special language. Ten-four is a term we are all familiar with. There are many other personal uses for two-ways. Families still use them to stay in touch with children or other family members in situations like mall shopping trips or trips to the amusement park.

The main snowboarding styles are freeride, freestyle and alpine. Freeride snowboarding involves riding down the face of a mountain, whilst taking in its bumps and curves. Freestyle snowboarding focuses on tricks and special skills, with spins and jumps being good examples. Alpine is a style not unlike skiing, as it emphasizes building up speed and making sharp turns.
